Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Secondary Level Physics Teacher to join our team, delivering high-quality education to students following the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a passion for physics and education, creating a positive learning environment and contributing to students' academic development through lesson planning, delivery, and progress assessment

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lesson Planning & Delivery:
    • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons by the CBSE curriculum for classes 9-12.
    • Utilize a variety of teaching methods (lectures, demonstrations, experiments, multimedia tools, etc.) to ensure student understanding of complex physics concepts.
    • Integrate practical experiments and hands-on activities to enhance students' learning experience.
  2. Curriculum Implementation
    • Follow the prescribed CBSE syllabus and ensure that all topics are covered effectively and within the academic year.
    • Regularly assess students' academic progress through assignments, quizzes, and periodic tests.
  3. Assessment & Evaluation
    • Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to evaluate students' knowledge and skills.
    • Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and a scientific approach to learning among students.
    • Foster an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated
    • Organise Support classes and enhancement classes effectively for Board Examination going students.
  4. Classroom Management
    • Establish and maintain a positive, disciplined, and respectful classroom atmosphere
    • Implement strategies for managing student behavior by the school’s policies and guidelines
  5. Professional Development
    • Attend faculty meetings, training workshops, and professional development programs to stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies and developments in the field of physics and education
    • Participate in departmental and school-wide activities, including extracurricular programs, science fairs, and projects.
  6. Parent and Guardian Communication
    • Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas needing improvement
    • Organize and attend parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and goals.
  7. Skills & Competencies
    • Strong understanding of the CBSE physics syllabus and teaching methodologies
    • Proficiency in using educational technology (smartboards, online learning platforms, etc.) for lesson delivery and student assessments
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to motivate and inspire students, fostering a love for learning and scientific inquiry
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to perform Physics Lab related experiments from classes 9 to 12
    • Ability to interconnect Physics concepts with other related subjects during theory and practical schedules.
