A robot is a machine designed to carry out

one or more tasks quickly and precisely. A
robot can be controlled remotely by a
human operator, but there are many
different kinds of robots for different tasks.

What is robotics?

Robotics is a branch of technology that deals with
physical robots. Robots are programmable
machines that are usually able to carry out a series
of actions autonomously, or semi-autonomously.

In my opinion, there are three important factors
which constitute a robot:

1. Robots interact with the physical world via
sensors and actuators.
2. Robots are programmable.
3. Robots are usually autonomous or semi-
autonomous.

The reason why I say that robots are semi- autonomous is because some robots
aren’t programmed to work independently once an input is given to them. They are,
like tele-robots, are controlled by humans. This explains why, even now in the world
run by technology, human intelligence is very important. This takes us to the next part
